Overview Under the general supervision of the Director of Clinical Services and/or the Senior Director of Ambulatory Services, apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes. Is knowledgeable of and performs within the scope of practice as delineated by the NH Board of Nursing. Responsibilities: Clinical: - Use effective interviewing and physical assessment skills telephonically or face-to-face to perform patient/family health status assessments by collecting and analyzing physical and psychosocial data, identifying needs, problems and patterns/trends, rendering an appropriate nursing diagnosis/intervention, and evaluating patient’s response to plan of care. - Exercise professional nursing judgment when performing a broad range of procedures and treatments, administering medications and prioritizing patient acuity as well as workload demands. - Provide patient care in a manner that demonstrates nursing knowledge, technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills competency, recognize changes in patient’s condition/si...
