Duties will be similar as those required of an Emergency Room Tech in a hospital Emergency Department. The PCC helps create a positive patient experience. The PCC helps support patient complaints similar to those in an ER Room to include chest pain, abdominal pain, injuries, fractured bones, etc. Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Deliver patient care to a variety of patients (fast track, med/surg and critical care). Perform quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care. Performance of EKG’s/cardiac monitoring with recognition of basic arrhythmias. Assist in procedure set-up (i.e., IandD, suture, vaginal exam, Lumbar puncture, chest tube, etc.).
