Job Summary Job Title: Primary Care (Outpatient) RN Location: William "Bill" Kling Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic: 9800 West Commercial Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33351-4325 Period of Performance: 08/12/2025 – 08/11/2030 Shift Schedule: five 8-hour shifts: Position Description: The Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. This role supports Veterans in a multidisciplinary outpatient environment by combining clinical expertise, care coordination, patient education, and procedural assistance. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient-centered care, focusing on wellness and disease management. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs and coordinating healthcare services to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also be expected to respond to urgent clinical situations, including escalating care and escorting Veterans to the Emergency Department when medically necessary.
