Final Line Mechanic IV in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Previous Gulfstream experience a must Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 7 years aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc. Two (2) years Gulfstream aircraft experience preferred.. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Position Purpose: In a team oriented work environment, must have demonstrated the ability to be proficient in all aircraft systems in the installation of parts and components, lines, cables, etc. in area assigned using required. tools and appropriate prints, specifications, and operational requirements to complete work assigned through final inspection, and assure conformance to specifications. Train other team members in methods and procedures. May serve as technical advisor to Team Coordinator and Department Manager.
