Description Reefer Peterbilt is a second-generation family-owned full-service medium & heavy-duty truck dealership looking for a full-time Diesel Mechanic/Technician at our Auburn Hills location. This individual must be hard-working, self-motivated, and organized. Responsibilities / Description: - Ability to perform troubleshooting/diagnostic testing and estimate repairs - Clock (post) time to each job performed, story causes and corrections on all repair orders, stating if parts replaced were new, used, or rebuilt, - Follow warranty procedures as set forth by management, i.e., pictures, measurements, tag parts, etc.… - Effectively perform maintenance inspections and determine when part replacement is necessary - Proficiently repair all major power and drive train components - Perform road tests to verify repairs were completed properly – dependent upon having a CDL - Contribute to the top productivity and efficiency of the department by staying within estimated times - Maintain a clean and safe environment that complies to OSHA and company standards, as well as within all DOT safety requirements - Perform other duties as assigned Benefits: - Must have Paccar/MX Engine experience -...
