Department: Transportation: Shift/schedule: Contingent (Works as needed): GENERAL SUMMARY: The Transportation Tech works under the supervision of the Manager of Transportation. The Transportation Tech drives passenger buses to transport employees and students from offsite parking lots to Main campus and transports employees between campuses. Assists in maintaining vehicle maintenance logs and tallying riders. The Transportation Tech also Monitors/maintains designated parking areas and entrances to Medical Office Buildings. Directs drivers of vehicles to appropriate parking areas. Provides Valet parking services to patients and visitors. Provides information and assistance to employees, visitors, and patients. Keeps front entrances free of parked cars or other obstructions blocking the flow of traffic. Performs other duties as assigned.
