In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position may be eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to the facility. Where You Will Work: 11A Trauma Step-Down is a 24-bed unit that provides care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. 11A is exclusively a trauma floor and works with the Surgical Trauma Service to care for stable patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, chest & abdominal trauma (blunt force or penetrating), and orthopedic injuries resulting from trauma. Carolinas Medical Center is the region’s only Level 1 trauma center and 11A trauma step down is proud to care for this unique patient population.
