Job Description: POSTION SUMMARY The Director of Safety & Security collaborates with the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Chief Flight Instructor, Director of Maintenance, and Executive Vice President to develop and execute the day-to-day management and administration of company safety programs. This position is responsible for developing the company’s Safety Management System, promoting safe actions, being the company contact for safety related issues and serving as a company liaison with members of the FAA, NTSB, and other government regulatory agencies, as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Collaborates with department heads to develop and execute the day-to-day management and administration of company safety programs. - Develops the company’s Safety Management System, promoting safe actions, being the company contact for safety related issues and serving as a company liaison with members of the FAA, NTSB, and other government regulatory agencies, as necessary. - Meets requirements as 14 CFR Part 119.65 Director of Safety. - Responsible for management, execution, and continuous improvement of company safety programs including b...
