Quality Inspector

Job description

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all materials and finished products meet company quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing measurement and visual tests, documenting results, and communicating with production staff to maintain product quality and compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities: - Perform visual and measurement tests and reject or return materials that do not meet quality standards. - Inspect in-process production by verifying specifications, performing tests, and communicating adjustments to operators and the production supervisor. - Approve products by verifying specifications, using quality tools, and returning nonconforming items for rework. - Verify completed rework, place questionable products on hold, and identify and report waste. - Document inspection results by completing reports, maintaining logs, and entering data into quality databases. - Maintain measuring equipment by following operating and calibration procedures and reporting repair needs. - Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards, procedures...
