OVERVIEW: The Fixed Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all service, parts and marina department operations. The Fixed Operations Manager will be responsible for the reputation, efficiency and profitability of the service, parts and marina departments. As with all positions within dealerships, this position will have a focus on improving the sales performance and FANS Scores. KEY TASKS: - Preparing an annual operating budget, goals and objectives for each of the fixed operations departments and monitoring the departments’ performance. - Directing the hiring and training of managers for the service, parts and marina departments. - Working with fixed operations department managers to improve profitability and efficiency. - Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that fixed operations department’s staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business. - Working directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines. - Maintaining compliance with company service and pricing policies. - Understand and keep abre...
