Our Elsie Quirk Library branch has an opportunity for a Youth Services Librarian. In this role, you will coordinate Youth Services programs/projects for youth ages 0-18 with a focus on Children (Birth to 11), their families, and early literacy. Other responsibilities include providing customer service, acting as Person in Charge of the Facilities at times, and coordinating collections. While the primary focus will be leadership in Youth Services, the librarian will also work with youth and adults in intergenerational programming. In the team environment, employees will participate in setting unit, library, and system goals, contribute to decision-making, and evaluate progress.
