Job description

Job Summary: The Medical Assistant is assigned to perform patient-oriented procedures, tasks, and workflows from patient check-in to check-out at all LLUHC sites, within scope of education and training, and under the supervision of physician, supervisor, and/or licensed staff person. Provide MA coverage to the various LLUHC Departments as requested/required. Exemplifies the Values and Mission of LLUHC. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Proof of completion required from a Credentialed or Nationally Recognized Medical Assistant (MA) program. Minimum of up to one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant required, two years’ experience preferred. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) user preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of outpatient clinic front office and back office practices and policies, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) user preferred. Able to consistently and effectively us computer keyboard. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position.
