JOB DUTIES: Prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks, ensuring proper thawing techniques and requirements are met. May assist with accountability and receipts for food purchases. Follow time and sequence of cooking operations to meet meal-serving time lines. Wash dishes and clean kitchen and kitchen equipment. Assist with preparation of meals/snack trays and specialty foods as directed for special events. Maintain kitchen facility in compliance with OSHA regulations. Stock food items on appropriate shelves with accurate labeling. Assist kitchen staff with maintaining relevant documentation in accordance with established standards. Attend nutrition/diabetes health staff meetings to learn updated nutritional dietary habits. Prepare and submit timesheet in an accurate and timely manner.
