Trade Compliance Specialist - Import/Export

Job description

We are looking for a trade compliance professional to manage import/export formalities in Europe, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role will include focus on import compliance but also assist with general organizational trade compliance initiatives. The candidate will join the Global Trade function within the Legal Department and collaborate cross-functionally to execute established compliance processes supporting applicable regulations. JOB DUTIES: Oversee import/export compliance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure adherence to Czech regulations, and assist with trade compliance in other regions including Slovakia and other European Union countries. Monitor changes in trade regulations and provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements. Must be able to correspond confidently to Customs authorities. Familiar with EU documents such as ATR, EUR 1, CMR, etc. Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
