Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Senior Status: Full Time: Department: Respiratory Care Location: Rochester General Hospital Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Day & Night 12-hour shifts, 7-7:30; 4 weekend shifs per 4-week block Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15k. SUMMARY: In any patient care setting, a Senior Respiratory Therapist will implement and update care plans, perform cardiopulmonary evaluation, administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies, and provide education to the patient, family, other team members, students, and the public. The Senior Respiratory Therapist will also provide administrative support to the Respiratory Care Department. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Assessment & Care Planning : Reviews patient records and clinical data to develop and update individualized respiratory care plans; advises providers on appropriate respiratory interventions. Therapeutic & Diagnostic Procedures : Administers and documents a wide range of respiratory therapies, including medication delivery, airway management, oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and diagnostic testing.
