We are currently hiring Cooks for first and second shift who are passionate about quality, teamwork, and service. - Cook (full time and part time, 1st and 2nd shift available) Position Summary: Hospital cooks have a unique role that combines culinary skills with healthcare needs. Key responsibilities include: - Meal Preparation: Preparing a variety of hot and cold food items, including entrees, soups, and sauces, using standardized recipes. - Dietary Compliance: Working closely with dietitians to ensure meals meet specific patient dietary restrictions and nutritional needs. - Safety & Sanitation: Following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines, along with federal, state, and local health regulations. - Kitchen Operations: Operating and cleaning various kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of food items. - Customer Service: Serving food to patients and staff in an efficient and friendly manner and resolving customer concerns.
