Intermediate Solder Assembler (1st Shift 5am-230pm)

Job description

Mercury Systems is looking for skilled solderers to help complete a variety of tasks relating to production operations on PCBs and PCBAs. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate skill with soldering SMT and through hole components, rework and repair of boards. This is a 1st shift opportunity, daily hours will be from 5:00am to 2:30pm and overtime is available and encouraged. Job Responsibilities: - Use soldering irons to attach electronic components with SMT and Thru hole technologies. - Interpreting job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics - Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards - Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts - Modifying, soldering, reworking, repairing assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions - Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor Required Qualifications: - Will require an onsite soldering assessment to J-STD-001 standards during the interview - Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Must be able to work 1st Shift hours, 5:00am to 2:30pm - Typically requires 3+...
