DATE: April 2026 FLSA STATUS: Exempt JOB TITLE: Recruiter DEPARTMENT: Human Resources-Recruitment REPORTS TO: HR Manager-Recruitment and Retention Job Function: The Recruiter supports the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent across all departments. Reporting to the HR Manager of Recruitment and Retention, this role is responsible for following established recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and supporting new hire onboarding and orientation. The Recruiter actively engages in community outreach and recruitment events—including occasional evenings and weekends—to build awareness of career opportunities at MATA and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
