Wire Transfer Specialist I

Job description

This position is responsible for the processing of wire transfer requests, both domestic and international, and related tasks or projects as required. Primary Duties: - Process all incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign wire transfers. - Provide support to both internal business units and external customers who require assistance with any wire inquiries/issues. - Resolve wire processing issues by contacting appropriate vendors when necessary to maintain established service levels. - Follow established policies and procedures, accurately and efficiently to meet team quality standards. - Consistently meet wire service level guidelines and production standards on a daily basis. - Promptly escalate critical issues affecting wire transfer processing to the Electronic Payments Manager. - Work flexible hours to support the department needs to include after hours and weekends, if necessary. - Continually review daily workflow looking for improvements in production processing. - Provide courteous, accurate and prompt assistance to coworkers or customers. - Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible. - Know and practice LO...
