Job Description Summary The Lead Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) Thermal Process Engineer is a key member of the technical team that helps current and future programs to achieve program milestones and meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work both independently and with various teams to develop, mature, and implement thermal processes that support manufacturing of CMC components for aircraft engines and other aerospace applications. Applies their technical knowledge and expertise to support technology maturation and product development across our application portfolio. This role works both independently and with adjacent teams to develop, mature, and implement thermal processes – both conventional and novel – that support manufacturing of CMC components for aircraft engines and other aerospace applications. This position collaborates closely with materials, design, and supply chain teams to meet business and customer objectives.
