Engineers Job Title: Maintenance Position Status: NON-EXEMPT Reports to: Area Chief Engineer Position Summary: The main function of the Engineer is to perform skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, paint touch ups etc… He or she is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and property are well maintained and in the best possible condition. Must approach all encounters with guests, associates and vendors in a friendly and service-oriented manner. Requirements: - Trade school or college course work in a related field preferred - Previous customer service& hotel experience preferred - 1 to 2 years practical experience in one or more of the technical trades (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) - Any license the property may require Work Environment – Ability to work: - With various pieces of equipment such as computer, telephone, two-way radios, TVs, maintenance equipment etc. - Under variable temperature conditions - Under variable noise levels - Outdoors/indoors - Around chemicals, fumes and other odor hazards, dust or mite hazards Physical Requirements: - Long hours sometimes required - Must be able to...
