Job description Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Part-time Quality Tech is responsible for all activities associated with box checks, rework, and quality reports and audits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Experience: - Check and continue to monitor quality of boxes during the run, including - mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects. - Complete necessary quality reports and audits in an accurate and timely manner. - Ensure unit quantities are correct. - Pull excess scrap from units. - Rework any returned product - HS Diploma/GED - One year of experience within a manufacturing environment. - Prior work experience as a forklift operator. - Able to read a tape measure. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and measurements.
