Job description

Summary: Finance professional responsible for various areas of plant accounting/finance, including but not limited to general ledger accounting, payroll, operations reporting and forecasting, fixed asset accounting, internal controls, and month-end financial closing and reporting. Accounting Analyst Job Responsibilities: - Accounting Analyst will assist the Controller with plant financial activities including GL accounting and reconciliations. - Support the month-end closing process including preparation of manual Journal Entries and ensuring appropriate cost allocations. - Monitor receivables and payables activity and address issues as necessary. - Maintain fixed asset folders to track capital projects from CAR to CIP to Assets Register. Maintain capital tracking, reporting, and analysis. - Support inventory controls including annual physical inventory to ensure accurate inventory balances and perpetual analysis. - Support and promote Continuous Improvement initiatives. - Support controller in preparation of monthly outlook requirements as well as annual and long-range plans. - Maintain internal controls processes and documentation related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
