Compensation Amount: 19.00 USD Hourly Job Summary: The Spray Technician reports directly to the golf course superintendent and assistant golf course superintendent. Responsibilities include mixing, preparing and applying chemical solutions such as insecticides, herbicides and fungicides. The position is responsible for maintaining pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs other duties as assigned. - Applies fertilizer and chemical applications. - Updates spray records, inventory and Material Safety Data Sheets. - Calibrates spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders. - Performs general upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment. - Diagnoses pest and fungus issues, once properly trained. - Performs golf maintenance duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Golf Course - Superintendent on non-spray days.
