Inside the Role The Commercial Credit Underwriter is responsible for evaluating, underwriting, and managing commercial credit applications across Dealer, Fleet, and Small Business customer segments within the United States and Canada. This role supports Daimler Truck Financial Services by assessing creditworthiness, managing credit risk, reviewing financial information, and ensuring adherence to DTFS credit policies. The Underwriter partners closely with Sales, Dealer personnel, Legal, Remarketing, and internal credit teams to support profitable portfolio growth, maintain strong customer and dealer relationships, and ensure high-quality underwriting standards.
