Overview Touro University's New York School of Career and Applied Studies is looking for applicants to join our Manhattan campus faculty. The undergraduate Biology Department offers courses toward our B.S. in Biology, which includes the Medical Honors Pathway, Dental Honors Pathway, and the fast track PharmD degree. The Department also teaches classes within the AAS in Nursing, Medical Assistant, and Medical Imaging programs. The professor would be required to teach at least four undergraduate classes per semester which may range from Principles of Biology to advanced electives, lectures, and labs. Responsibilities: The Assistant Professor of Biology will be responsible for a wide range of activities including but not limited to the following: - Teach a range of up to four courses per semester using varied modalities including in-person traditional classes, asynchronous online classes, and synchronous, remote classes via zoom. Additional classes may be available for extra compensation. - Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, handouts, hands-on activities, and projects. - Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data.
