What’s the role? This is a senior specialist role that shapes how Westpac navigates complex industrial relations matters across its people, leaders and employee representatives. Sitting within the Industrial Relations Strategy & Advice team in Westpac’s broader People function, this is not purely advisory or transactional role. It is about judgement, influence and practical impact at scale. You’ll contribute to Westpac’s industrial relations strategy and provide trusted advice on industrial instruments, disputes, major workplace change and IR risks arising from enterprise-wide or large divisional initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, People partners and internal specialists to help identify issues early, manage risk constructively and help deliver practical, legally sound outcomes.
