The Digital Modernization group at Leidos has a career opening for a System Administrator on a DISA contract. This role is primarily on the customer site at Ft Meade, MD. Administrator will provide support for assigned systems supporting Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. - Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs. - Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages. - Be able to work in a rapid paced environment at times. - Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements. - Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed. - Interacts with Tier III support and evaluates vendor products. - Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. - Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures. - Application of security settings and other commercial best - Provides coaching and reviewing the work of...
