Your job is more than a job. The Radiology Technologist Assistant assists the department with various clerical requirements. Assists with preparing rooms for patients, cleaning rooms after patients, stocking supplies and linen, transporting patients, answering phones, communicating with technologists and being an integral part of a positive patient experience. LCMC Health reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet Day to Day: GENERAL DUTIES: - Transports patients throughout radiology, including possibly to and from emergency department or inpatient units. - Facilitates getting patients ready for examinations. Assists patients off and on the examination tables. - Sets up rooms for examinations or procedures. Maintains exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and employees. - Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
