Structural/ Outfit Detail Designer - 00126003 Description: Job Title: Structural/Outfit Designer: Location: Halifax, NS: What you’ll be doing: - Create accurate blueprints and schematics for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with design standards and specifications - Collaborate with Structural, Outfit, and Piping teams to ensure design accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project objectives - Tackle complex design challenges, ensuring that ship systems integrate seamlessly and meet safety and operational standards - Participate in inspections and testing to verify design accuracy and performance, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications and quality standards - Ensure the quality and performance of your work by following the Detail Design Quality Management Policy - Identify and analyze quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to enhance design efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall work quality - Interpret and communicate design requirements, progress, and challenges with Team Leads and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear understanding across the project Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a generous annu...
