European Gas/Global LNG Market Analyst Context: The Expertise Center Market Analysis (MA) and the Gas Trading platform are looking for a European Gas / Global LNG Market Analyst. The position sits on the trading floor, embedded within a high-performance team of market analysts, data scientists, meteorologists and developers. The analyst reports to the gas and LNG market analysis team lead, covering horizons from day-ahead to 3–5 years. Market Analysis is a center of expertise within S&EM. Its mission is to generate rigorous, actionable market intelligence that directly supports ENGIE's commercial and strategic decision-making. The team builds and maintains proprietary fundamental models, develops quantitative tools, and produces market views across gas, LNG, power, emissions, oil and weather. It operates at the frontier between fundamental analysis, data science and trading. The gas and LNG desk advises traders on European gas market and global LNG dynamics, covering supply-demand balances, infrastructure constraints, price drivers and cross-commodity relationships.
