What does the job look like: Lead and contribute to software development efforts supporting mission-critical systems, with emphasis on scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot within a distributed architecture Work with open-source tools and technologies supporting big data, geospatial imagery, and remote sensing applications Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team leveraging modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles Drive containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Rancher Support infrastructure and deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins, Helm, and scripting (Bash/Shell/Python) Integrate and maintain third-party tools such as Keycloak , OpenSearch , Fluent Bit, and Cesium Contribute to system architecture decisions, performance tuning, and backend optimization Work with data platforms including PostgreSQL and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch Support testing automation, including integration and system-leve...
