Job Summary The Mathematics Department in the Bailey College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, is seeking to hire one full-time lecturer for a two-year contract, with appointment beginning August 17, 2026 and ending approximately May 19, 2028. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The anticipated hiring range for a finalist with a master's degree is $67,404 - $71,508 annually. The anticipated hiring range for a finalist with a doctorate degree is $78,432 - $89,772 annually. Primary duties and responsibilities are to teach undergraduate pre-calculus and calculus courses. Required Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Mathematics or closely related discipline such as Physical Science or Engineering is required. - Master’s degree must be conferred and official transcripts received before August 17, 2026. Preferred Qualifications: - Doctorate degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is preferred. - Experience teaching a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses at the collegiate level.
