Job Description: Position Summary: A Senior Program Engineering Manager is ultimately responsible for the product design, development, and the release of their respective department’s products. This individual must demonstrate discipline, vision, and leadership in order to ensure direct reports are engineering company products appropriately. This is accomplished through documentation, administration, implementation, and enforcement of the procedures, standards, and best practices, inside and outside of the department. Primary Responsibilities: - Support, approve, and enforce engineering standards through implementation of best practices, company processes, and design reviews - Enforce full design and specification reviews across all components and assemblies, according to TS, Cooper Standard Design and Process Standards - Anticipate and recognize systemic issues within and outside the department and develop action plans for improvement - Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams - Support and implement the overall department product strategy, and translate into actionable items for the team - Develop departmental plans, including business, production and...
