Job DetailsJob Location: Hutchinson Clinic - Hutchinson, KS 67502Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Health CareRole: Perform administrative as well as clinical tasks such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians and/or providers with exams. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in the electronic medical record (EMR). Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. Clean and package instruments for autoclaving. Dispose of contaminated supplies using universal precautions for protection against bloodborne pathogens. Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones. Develop sense of trust with patients and relatives through active listening, professionalism and being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity, and privacy.
