TITLE: Mechanical Technician A POSITION OBJECTIVE: With a constant focus on safety first, support production and quality by ensuring reliable operation of mechanical and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate has had leadership experience, is technically sound, goal-oriented and an effective problem solver. QUALIFICATIONS: ◦ 2 - 5 years’ experience with electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment required (plastic films manufacturing preferred) ◦ Possess experience with preventative maintenance software and maintenance tracking programs (CMMS) ◦ Industrial experience with motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and rotating equipment is highly preferred ◦ Preferred Associates degree in electronics with an emphasis on PLC’s, drives, AC/DC components or licensed Journeyman level; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience as determined by the manager ◦ High school diploma or GED equivalent required ◦ Broad knowledge and troubleshooting capability ◦ Knowledge of basic mathematics ◦ Ability to understand blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications ◦ Personal computer operation in a Window...
