Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an experienced Manager of Research & Knowledge Management to join its Charlotte, NC office. This role is responsible for managing the library’s collection, systems, staff, services, and physical space, while serving as a trusted research and knowledge partner to attorneys and staff across the firm. This is a hands-on, interactive position requiring regular, in-person presence and close collaboration with attorneys, leadership, vendors, and external library partners. What You’ll Do: Library Collection & Vendor Management - Develop, evaluate, and manage print and electronic legal resources - Research, recommend, and negotiate contracts for new legal research products and databases - Analyze usage data to optimize resources and proactively manage costs - Maintain strong relationships with legal publishers and vendors Research Services & Knowledge Management: - Administer online research and reference services, including reimbursement programs - Provide research support to attorneys and staff as needed - Lead training and onboarding on legal research tools a...
