Responsive recruiter The Goddard School located in Fort Wayne is seeking a Cook. The Goddard School is a leader in child care and provides high-quality early childhood education. We believe in education and fun! Candidates must be able to create and manage a budget, prepare menus, and calculate portions. Experience is needed to prepare lunch and snacks following nutritional guidelines for preschool-age children. The Cook is responsible for duties as outlined by the hiring manager, including, but not limited to, the following: - Managing the food budget - Ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all food - Preparing a menu that includes healthy lunch and snack selections, serving breakfast - Ensuring that menus are in compliance with state and federal regulations at all times - Maintaining appropriate portion sizes - Ordering food and paper products - Assisting in other areas as assigned Job Requirements: Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour - Must clear state required background checks and drug screen - Applicants should be patient, courteous, and professional with the children, parents, and co-workers - ServSafe Certified This Is Your Moment: The joy of childhood comes from...
