Job Summary The Back Shop Supervisor is responsible for tasks within the Aviation Back Shop section including inspection, test, repair, maintenance, and service of aircraft batteries and accessories using test equipment and hand tools as needed to return components to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. This position is also responsible for the overall day-to-day training, development and oversight of all Aviation Back Shop Technicians. Duties & Responsibilities: - Directly supervises assigned technicians - Responsible for motivating, mentoring, training, and providing constructive criticism to technicians - Ability to perform all Back Shop Technician Duties & Responsibilities - Develop, optimize and prioritize workflow on all back shop processes - Makes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow - Maintains high level of communication with internal and external customers on all assigned projects - Inspects conditions of batteries, tires, and other accessories, and replaces/repairs components as needed. - Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of maintenance work. - Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal toolbo...
