The Electrician performs skilled journeyperson level electrical work for the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of institution facilities and equipment. This position is considered essential. Personnel may be required to respond to campus emergencies both during and off shift. Job Qualifications and Competencies: High school graduate or GED (trade school preferred) Two years' related work experience: Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician's license: Valid motor vehicle operator's license is required Must possess their own hand tools Must maintain required licenses as a condition of employment Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics Thorough knowledge of electrician duties and the ability to apply same skillfully Must be willing to respond to emergency...
