Building Systems Maintenance Technician

Job description

Will be required to provide services and support, not limited to, the following critical patient care areas: Emergency Department, Linen & Central Services, Pediatric & Neonatal & other Intensive Care Units, Inpatient care areas requiring overnight stays for patients, Psychiatric & Complex Intervention Units, Transplant Units, Labor & Delivery, Cath Labs, and a Heliport. Responsibilities include supporting the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) along with the areas and occupants of a Chapel and Convent. Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester is accredited by The Joint Commission. Staff will be expected to complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline. The timeline and PM completion rate is in alignment with The Joint Commission requirements. Technicians may be required to perform activities outside of their job classification. Operate, maintain, repair and diagnose complex, critical mechanical systems and portable equipment.
