Title: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach - Recruiting Coordinator Division: President's Office: Department: Athletics: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Range: Annual Salary: Position Summary: Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the management and administration of the Division 1 Men’s Basketball intercollegiate sports program. Duties/Responsibilities: - Coach practice sessions and workouts. Assist with coaching responsibilities during athletic events. (60%) - Coordinate, plan and implement recruiting territories for staff members - Schedule recruiting trips for the staff and coordinate on-campus recruit to visits. - Schedule and lead weekly recruiting meetings with coaching staff. - Maintain and update the recruiting database and recruiting board. - Assist coaching staff in meeting the objectives of the university and team, including the evaluation, contact, and establishing relationships with prospective student-athletes, parents, and coaches. - Attend coaches’ preparatory meetings and implements strategies resulting from these meetings. - Scout for and recruit quality student-athletes and coordinates recruiting activities with the Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for...
