Overview: The Estimator position is responsible for performing take-offs of Avanti products and services from new construction single and multifamily digital plan sets. Estimating includes the markup of project plan sets, scope, and specification documents and taking into consideration changes in product and services due to changes in elevation per model, option selections, and site placement. This role will involve working closely with the sales team as well as other departments. High attention to detail, ability to follow process checklists and executing to reach deadlines is essential to success in this position. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Ability to read and comprehend blueprints Single/Multifamily plan reading experience preferred: Accurately estimate window and door packages based on builder specifications and building codes Single-family subcontractor take-off experience preferred: Fenestration related code knowledge preferred: Proactively communicate with builders and other departments and stakeholders as needed Adherence to process checklists and review protocols Ability to work on multiple projects at various stages of the bid lifecycle concurrently Maintain plan...
