Job description

Overview Develop, evaluate and revise the techniques and procedures that formulate the established environmental control and aseptic standards of the hospital. Planning, coordinating, monitoring and controlling through consultation with appropriate department heads, training programs to assure that sanitary standards are controlled and regulated throughout the hospital and affiliated primary care sites. Responsibilities: Participates in hospital wide environmental rounds. - Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees. Behaves in a manner consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of BronxCare Health System and its employees. - Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department.
