Pay Range: The UMass President’s Office expects to pay within an approximate hiring range between $80,000 - $100,00 for this position. The specific pay for this position will be determined by the University based on consideration of all relevant factors when and if it decides to extend an offer of employment. Primary Work Location: 50 Washington Street, Westborough, MA. Hybrid work schedule. Job Summary: The Senior Budget Analyst for the UMass System Office is generally responsible for the collection, organization, analysis, and reporting of University financial data. Senior Budget Analysts are responsible for: understanding the University’s policies and guidelines; collaborating with system office departments and campus staff to collect data and prepare reports in various areas of University’s budget; working with campus finance teams to monitor and forecast revenues and expenses and state appropriations as well as other ad hoc requests as needed; identifying and monitoring key budget issues and priorities; actively participating on various working groups and policy development teams as needed; and assisting in the preparation of Board presentations and materials.
