About the project We’re proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) , and we’re looking for the best people to help make it happen. QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six-car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose-built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast. Key responsibilities: - Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to drive accurate reporting & analysis, provide budget management support and monitor compliance with internal policies. - Deliver monthly reporting on project cost performance for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). - Month end process including journals, reconciliations and produce budget variance reports by projects/departments. - Ensure purchase orders and actual costs are accurate and controlled - Assist with the preparation of various project claims About You: Why Join Downer Rail and Transit Systems?
