Job Description Plant Human Resources Generalist – Des Moines, IA This is a full time, exempt position 100% on-site The HR Generalist will report to and partner with the Area HR Manager. This position will provide HR support for various levels of management and colleagues within the Des Moines, IA. plant. Position Responsibilities: - Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with the Talent Acquisition COE and plant teams, including scheduling interviews, coordinating feedback and ensuring candidates are prepared for onboarding and new hire orientation. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with plant leadership and union representatives to provide effective HR guidance and support. - Promote safety programs and policies to drive engagement and reinforce a culture of safety. - Partner with leadership to develop workforce planning strategies and knowledge transfer processes that strengthen current and future bench strength and support succession planning. - Promote consistent understanding and application of policies, procedures, and practices through training, coaching, and clear communication. - Performs routine tasks required to administer or to assist in getting i...
