Description The primary focus of the HR Generalist is to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department, employees, and managers within the company. Primary Responsibilities: - Handles inquiries from applicants, employees, managers, and third parties referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. - Assists with maintaining employee personnel files and DOT Driver Qualification Files. - Keeps HR and Safety team informed of Driver violations, as well as expiring licenses and DOT medical certificates and endorsements. - Assists with recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and training. - Provides administrative support including record-keeping, file maintenance, invoice coding, and HRIS entry. - Performs routine tasks required to administer human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. - Creates and implements employee engagement plans and activities. - Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations,...
