Overview The Speech Language Pathologist administers patient evaluations, plans and implements patient treatment proficiently for all assigned patient diagnoses. The SLP II demonstrates sound judgment in clinical decision making, demonstrates effective verbal and written communication; and accurate and timely documentation skills, and seeks guidance and supervision of Clinical Supervisor appropriately. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning.
