Welcome to HotDoc 👋 Founded in Melbourne in 2012, HotDoc is Australia's largest patient engagement platform — connecting over 10 million patients with more than 21,000 practitioners across GPs, Allied Health, Dental, Specialists and Optometrists. Our platform handles millions of healthcare interactions every day, and the engineering behind it has to be reliable, secure and scalable. We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to co-lead our Primary Care Mission Based Team (MBT). This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of how we modernise primary care in Australia. About the Role: The Primary Care MBT focuses on modernising primary care through patient engagement and regulatory enablement. The team of ~18 — including nine engineers, a Single Threaded Leader, Product Managers, Designers and a Data Engineer — is delivering several meaningful initiatives. These include a new integration platform, AI-powered tools to improve clinic efficiency, work to support clinics in meeting upcoming regulatory requirements, and key platform and security improvements, including multi-factor authentication and stronger security requirements.
